This article describes alternative methods to upload files to the Bit Weld service.

Symptoms

• Unable to select multiple files to upload
• File upload fails

Cause

• The Multifile Select (Flash Upload) is enabled / disabled

Resolution

There are two methods to upload files to the Bit Weld service. The default method uses a lightweight / secure Flash uploader to upload files. Alternatively, the standard web browser uploader may be used to upload files.

The biggest difference between the two methods is the Flash uploader makes it easier for users to select multiple files to be uploaded.

Here is how to change how files are uploaded.

• Open a Secure Workspace
• Click the “More … Multifile Select” to enable/disable the Flash uploader

This setting will remain in effect while you are accessing the Secure Workspace.
